About Us
Our story, our mission, our heart
Founded on the belief that every woman is made in the image of God, Imago Dei exists to bring hope, healing, and practical support to women in prison and those rebuilding their lives after release.
Our Mission
Set free from the past, knowing their true value
We equip women in prison and upon their release to live in their fullest potential. Through our four programmes, we provide pastoral care, practical skills, safe housing, and a voice for those who are often unheard.
Since 2016, we have supported over 700 women across three prisons, with many continuing to receive support through our community programmes after release.
The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners.
Luke 4:18-19
